Keep both sets of records

Do not discard the documents issued in the country where the death occurred after the Kenyan registration is complete.

Keep the foreign death certificate, Kenyan registration documents and repatriation paperwork together.

Diaspora deaths often involve administration in more than one country.

Having one complete file can save the family from repeatedly trying to obtain documents months or years later.
